Florence is my favorite place on the Oregon coast. "Old Town" on the river front is a delightful place to visit. Shopping/dining options are plentiful & within easy walking distance. The Siuslaw river is an ever changing canvas of water, ebbing & flowing with the changing tides & teeming with wildlife. There's always something happening on the water, you just have to look for it.
